EFFCO commenced operations in 2007 as an asset backed financing firm whose predominant activities and operations in Southern Africa entail availing access to suitable credit facilities to local companies aiming to expand their business relationship with large corporations in the mining, telecommunications, energy and construction sectors. Through this initiative, EFFCO's activities compliments SAEDF's primary objective to stimulate entrepreneurship and enterprise development in Southern Africa. Certified under the Botswana International Financial Services Centre, EFFCO recently established its head office in Gaborone, Botswana. The company already has a fully operational office in Johannesburg in South Africa albeit most activities will be out of Botswana.
